Tonight I'm Fucking You

I Can Be Your Hero // Truce

Tony grinned at the other’s confusion. He was always so lost in his work or in the two of them so the days didn’t always interest him and he lost sight of what day of the week it was at times. Tony didn’t mind. He wouldn’t know either if JARVIS didn’t remind him. Besides, on Bruce, he found it cute.

“It’s the 4th of July, babe,” he said, winking. He grinned when the other approved of the toast, drinking a little of his and setting the cup down. He opened his silverware and set his napkin on his lap. Taking up his silverware, he glanced at his boyfriend.

“Let’s dig in.”

They began to eat and talked. Tony asked about Bruce’s workings and he listened to the answers and Bruce asked about his as well. He answered and before long, dinner was done and Tony knew the time had come. He got up, urging Bruce to wait in his chair as he cleared the dishes. He called for JARVIS to start the song and as Enrique Iglesias’s Hero started, he walked back to Bruce, a slanted smile on his face as he held out his hand.

“Dance with me, love?” he said, the grin growing at his reaction. He chuckled and pulled the scientist to the open space. Placing a hand on his waist and keeping his hand in the other, he pulled him close as they started to dance. Tony sang bits of the song to his lover.

The food was delicious, cooked to perfection just the way Bruce liked it. Tony, again, displaying his consideration for what Bruce wanted. The conversation was trivial, polite and comfortable between the two of them and all too soon, dinner was done. Bruce went to help with the plates but Tony motioned him back to his seat. He waited, eyes watching every move Tony made. His form was perfection in the tux that so obviously had been made for his body.

At the music, his brow rose. It sounded familiar and Tony’s smirk seemed like he should recognize it. And then the request to dance. Bruce chuckled and stood.

“Of course, darling.”

They danced, Tony pulling him close and holding him in the wide open space of the roof. It was lovely and calm and Bruce rested against him with contentment. Tony’s voice joined the sultry one over the speakers and he soon realized why he was smirking. The words to the song spoke of being a hero. It was ironic and ridiculously sweet and he hummed lightly.

“This is new. You never sing. What’s the occasion?”

Tony grinned as Bruce started to dance with him, being a great sport about it all. He listened as his lover hummed before asking a question. He shrugged and dipped the other.

“I just felt like doing something special for you. You are more than I deserve and I wanted to show you that in the way I best knew how.”

He continued to dance and spun the other a few times. It got to the slower part of the song and he spun the other out, when he spun back in, Tony was on his knee and had the box in his hand and the ring showing.

The music played the line I can be your hero as the music ended. Tony looked into Bruce’s eyes.

“Bruce. Will you marry me?”

Bruce simply enjoyed being in Tony’s arms for a while. He was in love with this crazy man and he was an addict when it came to his affection. In fact, he was a little amused by, and a lot pleased with, the abundance of affection Tony was doling out tonight. He must have really…

It clicked for him a second later. Tony had purposefully gone out of his way to be elsewhere so Bruce could work. He’d been considerate but he missed him. It warmed the scientist inside and out that his lover had done this sort of thing for him. Tony was much more selfless than anyone gave him credit for.

“Thank you.” The gratitude was for more than the compliment but he’d leave it at that.

Bruce took his seat, smiling at the gesture of Tony pushing it in, and waiting. The food looked delicious when Tony unveiled it and he leaned in to smell it while he waited on his boyfriend to return. The champagne surprised him a little. What on earth were they celebrating? He tilted his head in confusion while Tony sat and then he toasted.

To America….

His brows shot up. “Tony… what’s today’s date?”

Oh of course! Independence Day. Oh he was an idiot. They were having a date and celebrating the 4th of July. That explained the suits and the champagne. For someone so smart, his brain was acting ridiculously slow.

Bruce nodded his approval of the toast and took a drink, the bubbled tickling his tongue as it went. He didn’t drink the stuff often.

Bruce was smiling. Tony had been mysteriously silent, which had caused a slight frown and a check up with JARVIS earlier, but the physicist had let it go eventually. He had work to get done and he’d been seriously neglecting it in favor of spending time in his lover’s arms. And that’s why he was smiling. Because now he’d accomplished all the tests he’d wanted, had exactly 2.3 major breakthroughs in the projects for hulk pants, Tony’s suit atmosphere, and some small projects with the cold strain (Yes, Bruce was trying to cure the common cold), and he could go back to being in his lover’s arms.

If only he could find him. The man was still missing and a sharp jolt of panic went through him.

“JARVIS? Vitals on Tony please?”

He waited for the AI to beep through, walking toward their room. With every step, he grew a little more anxious. What if someone had kidnapped him? What if SHIELD had shown up and whisked him away without telling him? He tried to soothe himself with facts about security and protocols but it wasn’t until the AI came online that he relaxed.

“Tony is fine, sir. He does request that you dress in the suit he bought for you last week and meet him on the roof. He has planned dinner for the two of you.”

Bruce breathed a sigh of relief and nodded. Okay, he could do that. In fact, dinner with his boyfriend sounded awesome. He sniffed himself though and winced. He needed a shower pretty bad. Hopefully dinner would still be warm. The man stripped quickly, stepping into the amazing shower that the two of them shared. Seriously, one thing he was going to miss on the trip to Chile next year was the showers. He’d gone for a while without luxuries like toilet paper and showers and a mattress but living in the Tower had spoiled him. Tony had spoiled him.

He grinned again when he got out, drying off as quickly as possible and wrapping the towel around his waist. In a couple more moments, Bruce was done with his teeth, his hair, and a shave. Clothes were next and he let himself enjoy the silk against his skin before he grabbed his tie and began to tie it up.

“JARVIS? Status on dinner? I’m trying to hurry because I don’t want it to be cold.”

The AI rang through the room as he twisted and adjusted the tie to perfection. Reassured, he glanced in the mirror once more and reached for his jacket.

“Well, how do I look? Think Tony will keep his hands off long enough to eat tonight?”

“I wouldn’t count on it, Master Bruce.”

Bruce chuckled at the wry tone and nodded. “Thank you, JARVIS.”

When he was all dressed, Bruce took the elevator and stepped out onto the room a moment later, grin falling away to awe as he took in the spectacle. The roof was gorgeous, with a few candles around the table. The backdrop of the city, lights twinkling, was beautiful. But none of it compared to the man now standing near the table. Tony was breathtaking in his tux and Bruce had to wonder if he was missing something. It wasn’t an anniversary or anything.

“Wow…. You look…” He stepped closer, stealing a short kiss. Bruce looked around. “All of this, really. This is amazing.”

Tony grew more and more antsy the later it got. It wouldn’t be long until Bruce joined him and he absolutely could not choke tonight. He had promised himself that no matter the answer, he would ask him tonight. He straightened as his AI beeped in to let him know that Bruce was on the way and wish him luck once again.

Tony stood near the table, grinning wryly when his lover joined him on the roof. He was a livewire as the man moved closer. Tony looked him over and it took his breath away. But Bruce always did that. Leaning into the kiss, he smiled at the compliment and nodded.

“Yes, well. Who was it that said we needed a good date,” he asked, and leaned in close. He kissed his mouth and held him for awhile. He could ask him now but that was too easy. He had it all planned. It was perfect. He released the man and caressed his cheek with his hand.

“You look amazing, Bruce,” he said, his voice low and sincere. He sighed happily. “Take your seat. I’ll get our plates.”

He pulled out the chair for Bruce and pushed it in before moving over to the holding unit that kept their food hot. He’d ordered steaks—rare for him and medium rare for Bruce, with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. It was all very American, it being the fourth of July and everything. He brought them over, lifting the lids and taking them back.

He returned and took his own chair, pouring Bruce a glass of champagne and refilling his own cup. He returned the bottle to the ice bucket and lifted his glass.

“To us…” he grinned and shrugged. “And to America too, I suppose.” He chuckled softly.

I Can Be Your Hero // Truce

When: This para takes place tonight (probably around 8, after it has gotten dark) after this self-para happened during the day. We are starting early so we can hopefully finish it. :D Stay with us throughout the day!

Where: On the large roof of Stark Tower. Where there is a lot of space.

Wearing: Clicky.

Tony smoothed out his tux and slipped the box into his pants pocket. He was playing it cool as he always did but inside, he was a wreck. He knew that Bruce love him, of course he did, but that still didn’t tell him how the man would react to tonight. He chewed on his bottom lip as he looked into the mirror. JARVIS beeped through.

“You look great, Sir. I am sure Master Bruce will be very pleased with everything. Should I send for him now, Sir?”

Tony shook his head. “No. Let me get to the rooftop. I’ll let you know to send him there after I make sure everything looks good.”

“Very good, Sir. And Sir?”

Tony raised a brow. “Yes, JARVIS?”

“Good luck tonight, Sir.”

Tony grinned. “Thank you, JARVIS.”

He left the room he shared with Bruce and headed up to the rooftop. Bruce had been in the lab all day and that had worked out great. He’d hired a restauant to bring in food and a table and chairs. He had the rooftop wired to play soft dancing music. They had all left and would return in the morning to take it all down. Now it was just him and everything was perfect. One thing—or person rather—was missing.

“JARVIS?” he called.

The AI cut through the music for the moment.

“Yes, Sir?”

“Call through to Bruce. Tell him to dress in the suit I bought him and join me on the roof for dinner. Remember… not a word of the other thing.”

“Of course, Sir.”

JARVIS cut out and the music returned. Tony knew that Bruce would want to shower and dress so he had a bit of time to ground himself. He moved to the table and poured himself some champange. Sipping on it, he scanned the night skyline and waited.

Yes // Self-Para

Tony leaned down on his bench to reach under his workspace. He felt for what he was looking for, hand closing around it with a faint smile upon his face. He pulled it out, opening the container and pulling out the object inside.

He held it up, looking at it from every angle. He’d had it now for a week. It had taken him the greater part of the week before to go out and get it. He knew it was fast, but he didn’t care. After all. Whoever said that he was well thought out in the things he did—well, they were a liar. He placed it on the counter, sliding his finger around it’s circumfrance and watching it spin with his finger.

A smirk crossed over his face and he nodded abruptly to himself. He took the object and placed it back into its container once more, returning it to its hiding place. Yes, he decided.

Yes.

Tonight would be the night.

Self Para: A Look At Marriage

Tony held the man in his arms as he lay awake in their bed. Everything about their relationship had been yards, miles, many millions of miles different than any fling he’d had before. Even his relationship with Pepper, which was the most serious thing he had before Bruce, had been different. Any thought about marriage was looked at with mirth and never included one of those people. Now, however, he viewed it differently.

Now it was never paired with words and phrases like rediculous, sad fate, never, yeah right, and you’ve got to be kidding me. Instead, those were traded up for alright, I guess, not the worst idea in the word, someday, and one day. And they were always, always, attached to images of Bruce. This didn’t take a genius, one-time-but-most-likely-never-again playboy, philanthropist billionaire to figure out.

One day, he planned very much to marry Bruce. The realization hit him and he only smiled, a little surprised that the knowledge didn’t freak him out. He could sense that JARVIS was freaking out a little. The lights were flickering until Tony whispered to put them out and the window flashed from forest, to beach, to church, to the proper skyline until Tony told the A.I. to take five. He didn’t really know why he freaked out so much. It wasn’t as if he was going to propose that very day. That would be absurd.

It was far too early for all that. They weren’t ready. They had, after all, only been dating since the ninth of the previous month. That was twenty nine days. Two days shy of a month. In another month, or two, maybe—just maybe—they’d be ready. But not yet. They were still learning about each other and getting comfortable. And what surprised Tony more than anything was the fact that he was less impulsive and more thoughtful about things, like marriage, when Bruce was around. The physicist was indeed the level head to his impulsivity. They were perfect for each other and no one would convince him of otherwise.

Looking at Bruce, he tilted his head and smiled, watching the slightly younger man sleep. He carded his fingers through his hair and whispered for JARVIS to find him the number to Tiffany’s. There was no problem in starting to look when he was now certain that one day, perhaps fairly soon, he would get down on a knee for more sentimental reasons then a quickie blowjob.
